We had a great run with our creation of Orestes 2.1 this past Spring, and we’re now in rehearsals for this Fall’s production and have the rest of the coming year planned as well.

The Company will be mounting a few Daniel MacIvor plays for the Fall 2009 / Spring 2010 season.

November finds us running Marion Bridge in both Fredericton and Saint John. A wonderful cast of three talented ladies tell this sad but beautiful story of three sisters returned home to Cape Breton on the occasion of the their mother’s passing. (More details to follow soon.)

Spring 2010 will see the re-mounting of two MacIvor plays we have had fun with before: This Is A Play and House. These plays were the perfect choices for pieces that are worth a second visit — and this will also help enable Nasty Shadows to workshop an original play throughout the Spring to be staged in the Fall of 2010.

So, we’ve got a busy year planned and hope those interested in an intimately engaging evening of theatre will venture out to what is sure to be a season of drama worth experiencing.
