Pandemically postponed STANDING AT OPPOSITE ENDS ARE DUCKY & MURDOCK CAST
A seemingly simple story about a young woman and young man in love during wartime, but with a Nasty touch from the Shadows. Work continues on this project. We had hoped to be staging it this summer, but we were pandemically postponed and THE FIFTH WALL project took over due to the practical nature of our Nasty contribution to the project, ISOLATION JONES, which could easily be developed during quarantine (one-man show show created by the person performing). The planned spring of blooming Beckett plays fell by the wayside in the wake of the province’s immediate shut-down in mid-March, and perhaps those shows will come to fruition in the coming year as well. This situation has thrown an unforeseen Shadow on our Nasty path, but as we did this summer, and as we always have, we will adjust as needed to the real-life circumstances of staging theatre in uncertain surroundings — that’s part of the thrill. Ducky & Murdock will stand before an audience in the coming year, someway, somewhere. We’ll see you under the lights … scott ~ LINKS TO NASTY STUFF ~
