Nasty New Table Work
Rehearsals are underway for our next project which is a new original play created within the Company, working from a text written by Scott Shannon, but developed/altered/changed by working with the company of actors … the play is yet to be titled … at the moment it’s the “UNTITLED TABLE PLAY” …
You can follow along in our Rehearsal Notes section as Scott will be posting thoughts and rehearsal stories throughout the process.
The play is set to run mid-April in our usual cities, on some odd days of the week, but alternate/new venues:
Saint John = April 15th-16th (Fri-Sat) @ BMO Rehearsal Hall
(Saint John Theatre Company Building; 112 Princess St.)
Fredericton = April 18th-20th (Mon-Wed) @ Charlotte St. Arts Centre Auditorium
We’re excited to initiate a co-production of the play for the Saint John run, partnering with the Saint John Theatre Company to stage the show in their new performance space on Princess St. — it’s a great open space that will accommodate us well.
Hope to see you out to support this new focus to develop some original work.
Coming later in the spring will be a one-man performance of Daniel MacIvor’s Monster to run in conjunction with the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences Congress 2011 being held on the UNB Fredericton Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to share some local work with a new audience — and we’ll also be sharing this new MacIvor piece with a run in Saint John as well.
